Ran some preliminary numbers in EFT, and even without the subsystem skills trained yet, it out tanks my Drake and my Raven by no less then 30%!

Just wanted to give a heads up about the gallery I threw up for Champions Online. I have been playing it quite a bit, and will run down my thoughts on it this week some time, for now just enjoy the pics!

Apocrypha 1.5 is being deployed today, which is to say all day. Jokes aside it promises some nice improvements after they finish their “QA Cycle”.

I think they need to train Jury Rigging V over at CCP…

I <3 my corporation…

Finaly got around to checking out CCP’s Butterfly Effect video. While I think that they may be overstating the action/reaction elements of the game a little bit, it is a cool video none the less. For one thing, no random guy no matter how helpful is going to get invited to a huge fleet op. Nor would he get that far into unfriendly nullsec to even be in a position to help.

This is sort of addendum to my previous post, I had a lot of negative feedback on using capacitor flux coils on the setup. I think most of the confusion revolved around flux coils being confused with capacitor power relays. Both modules have bonuses to to capacitor recharge, but relays have a shield boost drawback, which is counter productive on a active shield tank. Flux coils have a maximum capacitor capacity drawback, which is offset with positive gain to peak capacitor regeneration rate.

What kind of idiot do they think will buy and fit a more expensive, less effective, top named T1 module over the more readily available and effective T2 part if the skill prerequisites are the same? Srsly, wtf?

Don’t you love Jet Can tippers? I know I do. They always have shiny expensive ships and nothing better to do then waste everyone’s time. I had a run in with one today. He warped in on the belt I mining in, and proceeded to approach me. I immediately filled my Retriever’s hold, and docked with the station I was aligned on.

Upon coming back to the same spot in my hauler, my can had been replaced by his, and he was sitting there in a Nano Curse, orbiting the can at 8KM.

After waiting him out for 10 minutes, I decided that if he pops my hauler I don’t care, I want my fucking ore back. So I found an asteroid on a straight line drawn from a station, and his can. I approached that rock and when ready, aligned to station to “keep the motor running” as it were. As soon as I hit 1500 meters from the can, I opened it, took the ore (and his place holder he used to create said can, more on this in a bit), immediately selected the aligned station, and mashed the dock button.

I was instantly at warp and safely away before he could activate webs on me.

I did feel bad about stealing his place holder, so I did up a contract so that he could get it back…

Lol, I’m such a stubborn dick.

What happens in corp channel, stays in corp channel… At least Ogogov would like to think so.

And so it begins… again. Due to getting unbanned before my skill training “Fuck that noise V” completed, I reactivated my account and in 6 hours have managed 1 L3, which almost blew up my Hyperion… lol… uhhhhh.

So, I sold the barely used blaster boat, with the proceeds from that (90 mil, FUCK YOU market) and the 65 mil I still had sitting around, I’m fitting out at T2 Drake. Figured I might as well cheese ball it up while I train something more fun, and get comfy again. Here is the fitting I am running with, fairly standard:

I have some ideas for a close fire support Drake that fits an AB and assault launchers. Might be funny for 0.0. Or it might just be stupid.

By the way, the destruction of my fully T2 and rigged Drake the “CABC-Odyssey”, was what led me to quit the first time. It was the day after the SPR nerf, and I still maintain that they buggered it up. NO ONE and I mean no one, should have been able to pop that ship before I aligned on an exit.
