I picked up Dead Rising this passed Friday, and have been having a hilarious time at the expense of those poor stupid damned dirty undead.

Case in point, I got stuck in North Plaza after dark and decided I would try to brave the zombie infested wilds for an entire night, game time. With sunglasses donned, head shaved, Katana in hand, and several liters of Coffee Creamer, I barricaded myself in the North Plaza Knife shop and fought the zombie horde, for they are legion.

Just as the sun came up I was awarded an achievement for killing (re-killing?) 1000 walking damned.

Srsly.

CCP CMO Magnus Bergsson goes on record about the BoB vs. GoonSwarm war. Declares BoB victorious.

If this is what passes for news over at TenTonHammer, no wonder I have never heard of that site. IGN Vault is also syndicating the interview if that gives you any further insight into the validity of the news. The interviewer, Micajah, basically hands an easy sound bite to Bergsson on a silver fucking plater, and big surprise he knocks it out of the park, while declaring CCP basically above all reproach:

HAY GUYS! Guess what I’m still looking at?! While I am addenduming, for those of you that play lesser games:

SISI - Short form for Singularity. Or the name of the EVE Online test server. No, I have no fucking idea why it’s called SISI.

Tranq - Yes it was… Sorry. Short for Tranquility. The “production” server. lol.

Band of Bitches – BoB, Band of Brothers. Largest alliance in EVE. Brags about their developer friends they have on MSN. Said friends were caught spawning Tech 2 Blueprints for BoB. Whoops.

Tech 2 – Class of item in EVE Online. Phat l00ts. Better than Tech 1… duh.

GTC - Game Time Card. You can get these at the store and use em instead of a Credit Card. You can also buy them for in game money using an official broker system… Until CCP discovered that the Mob might be laundering money through EVE…

ISK - In game money. Stuff the Mob converts to real money.

Lost Training Time - Something players get frustrated with. Devs commonly suggest to set a “Long Skill” to avoid this. ?! What the Fu…

Long Skill - A skill in EVE Online that will take your character a long time to train. What a Dev will tell you to “set” right before or AFTER he fuck boots the server again. Yeah thanks Cock Munch.

Really tho, even with all the Drama Bombs and Goon Blobs, the forum warrioring is more fun than the game some days.

Nothing to report here really, since once again the production EVE Online server is down during North American prime time. On a Friday no less. Because of this I have composed the following petition, that if further inspired I will submit when CCP resuscitates the database.
